I'm Steve, the business owner of Craft-n-Tidy. We're a small UK business, based in the North East of England, who are focused on producing innovative, high quality storage solutions for paper crafters. My partner is the inspiration behind the business and many of the products.  Being a paper crafter herself, she knows the value of having an organized craft room. Once she gives me an idea for a new storage product, I get to work designing and building a prototype for her to try out. Once the prototype is tweaked to her satisfaction (which isn't always easy!), only then do the products go into production. All our products are handmade by myself to ensure that each one is of the highest standard.

How Craft-n-Tidy began

The business began as a request from my partner to create some storage for her ever expanding stash of papercraft materials. For years she kept asking me, ''when are you ever going to get around to making my paper storage shelves?''. I think she'd given up hope of ever getting her storage units. That is until ....one Christmas morning, when I presented her with a number of gift wrapped boxes, which she unwrapped and with a shriek of gleeful delight, she finally had her long awaited paper storage. In no time at all, the units were sitting snuggly in her IKEA KALLAX, filled with a rainbow of coloured paper. I think she was happy with them, as I got an extra helping of turkey that day! She was so impressed with the quality of the storage units that she convinced me that other crafters would be equally as impressed, and I could easily build a business selling them. Having been a keen woodworker all of my life, the idea of earning a living from my passion for woodworking appealed to me, and so the Craft-n-Tidy business was born. Our first products were based on cubes which would fit inside of the IKEA Kallax shelf unit. Since then, our product range has expanded to include storage units which can also sit neatly on a desk, or fixed to the wall, but still offer the highest level of storage solutions for crafters.
